Terms and Conditions (App)

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the "StoryTales" app and all related services.

Using the app requires registration via email/password or Google login.

By registering, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old or have your parents' consent to use the app.

Accounts are non-transferable.

You may only upload your own, self-created drawings and profile pictures.

It is prohibited to upload photos of real people, sensitive content, or content protected by copyright.

The app is not intended for sharing content with other users. Your content remains private.

All content you upload (images, names, descriptions) as well as content generated by the app (e.g., AI-generated images and stories) is checked by a moderation API (e.g., OpenAI) for inappropriate or dangerous content before being shown to you. Content that violates these rules will be rejected or deleted.

We reserve the right to delete any content that violates these Terms of Service at any time.

You retain the rights to your uploaded drawings and inputs.

By using the app, you grant us the right to use your content for analysis, AI processing, and the generation of stories and images.

You may use the AI-generated images and stories for private purposes. Commercial use is not permitted without our consent.

We reserve the right to use anonymized content to improve our services.

We strive to keep the app and all features available at all times. However, the app or certain features may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We reserve the right to change, restrict, or discontinue the app or individual features at any time.

The app may not be used for illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate purposes.

Automated requests, scraping, reverse engineering, or similar abusive activities are prohibited.

Violations of these rules may result in your account being suspended or deleted.

We accept no liability for unlawful or unauthorized uploads by users.

We are only liable for damages resulting from intent or gross negligence.

We accept no liability for third-party services (e.g., App Store, Google Play, Clerk, OpenAI, Google Gemini) used in connection with the app.

You can delete your account at any time within the app.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms of Service.

Some features of the app are paid and can be purchased as a subscription, one-time purchase, or top-up package via the App Store or Play Store.

Payment processing is handled exclusively by the respective store. The store's terms and cancellation policies apply.

The current prices, usage limits, and conditions for subscriptions, one-time purchases, and top-up packages are available in the app and/or in the respective App Store or Play Store. Changes will be announced there in a timely manner.

Right of Withdrawal: For digital content, the statutory right of withdrawal may expire once execution has begun (e.g., download or use of the feature). The exact conditions are governed by the respective app store.

We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service. The current version is available in the app and on the website.
